Product Description
Some information about the RIP capacitive bushing of RIB
- The main insulation of resin impregnated paper (RIP)bushing is condenser core combined by crepe paperand aluminum foil , which is cured after impregnated withresin epoxy.
- External insulation is porcelain envelope or compositeinsulation.
- Pollution class is anti-pollution class lll , IV Test tap to measure capacitance , dielectric dissipation(tanb) and partial discharge quantity is set on the middlegrounding flange;
- End shield to improve electric field distribution of bushingtail is equipped on the rail of bushing (on transformerside);
- Good sealing and performancer
- Oil-free, gas-free, explosion-proof, Green EnvironmentalProtection
- Small size, light weight, high strength ,any angle ofmounting;
- Easy transportation and mounting, maintenance free:Stable operation and high reliability

Comparison between OIP and RIP & RIS bushings (dry type)
1. Insulation level: According to the IEC60137 standard, the insulation level of dry bushing type is E level (up to 120 ° C); The insulation level of OIP-type bushings is Class A (up to 105 ° C).
2. Transportation: Dry bushing type is not filled with oil, making it easier to handle, transport, and install; OIP-type bushings are more susceptible to damage and installation impact.
3. Seismic resistance and mechanical strength: Dry-type bushings have been proven to have a high level of seismic performance. The seismic performance of OIP-type bushings is deficient. Compared to the medium strength of OIP-type bushings, the mechanical strength of dry-type bushings is very high.
4. Installation and debugging: Dry bushings can be installed vertically or horizontally at any angle; There is a limitation during the installation process of OIP-type bushings, which is that it can only reach a vertical height of 30 degrees. When disassembling/installing the OIP type bushings liner, OIP needs to be drained, while the RIS dry type bushings liner does not need to be drained. The installation time of dry bushings is also much shorter than that of OIP bushings.
5. Dry-type transformer bushings require less maintenance and even can be achieved maintenance-free and inspection than OIP-type transformer bushings because not need to fill oil each year.
6. Flammability and Explosion Risk: Dry-type transformer bushings do not use oil insulating; therefore, they are not flammable, which makes them nonexplosive shells; The probability of explosion of OIP-type bushing transformer bushing due to insulation fault/arc is very high.
